“Each week all over the world, there are men who earnestly wrestle with a nagging question. They have dreams and drives. They query friends, consult pastors, exhaust mentors, and sometimes even apply to Bible schools and seminaries. All of this is to discover the answer to the question that refuses to be ignored:
“Am I called to ministry?”
God has entrusted the future of the church to these men and the future of these men to the church. Therefore, we thought any effort aimed at helping them would be valued by most and strategic for all.
An idea was born. What if there was a credible website curated by an experienced pastor dedicated to helping men, their pastors and their church in this exciting journey? What if there was a resource that would help some resolve the question of eldership and free them to serve contentedly as deacons in their local church? Could there bea site available to bible schools, training schools, mission agencies and seminaries that would serve potential applicants, so that the right men enter the right programs, and then graduate to start ministries that last? Could there be a domain which could speed men along in their journey to settle the question, “Am I called to ministry?”
This website exists to meet those needs.
Through articles, regular blog posts, podcasts, and other resources, Am I Called? will help men evaluate their call to pastoral ministry. It was also help churches find men who are called to pastoral ministry.
